Over 2 Million Electronic Introduction Letters Issued in One Month

The introduction letter system for medical treatment, known as MAAD, has achieved the issuance of over 2.1 million electronic introduction letters within just one month. MAAD is a system designed by the Fannavaran Etelaat-e Khebre aka IRANEIT and provides services to healthcare centers.

Healthcare centers across the country can issue online introduction letters through the MAAD system, which operates as a unified web application (a website for all contracted medical insurance companies with “Fannavaran”).

The system was launched in July 2020, starting with approximately 500 healthcare centers using it. However, now more than 12,000 healthcare centers benefit from the MAAD system.

Statistics show that since its initialization, the system has grown from issuing 40,000 electronic introduction letters per month to over 2.1 million letters.

MAAD is the only system available in Iran that has successfully integrated the healthcare services of 17 insurance companies. It has played a significant role in facilitating the use of supplementary insurance policies for millions of insured individuals.
